Brendan began working in Healthcare in 2008 serving as the Environmental Service Manager at another healthcare facility near Cincinnati. In 2009, Brendan took a position with our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services serving as our Human Resource Manager. In 2011, he furthered his education and obtained a License to Practice Nursing Home Administration. Brendan moved into the Assistant Administrator position at Morris Nursing Home in 2012 and in 2013 he moved into the Administrator role while still serving as the Human Resource Manager for both Morris Nursing Home and Adams County Manor. Brendan continues to work his way up and as of February 2019, Brendan is now the Administrator for both of our skilled nursing facilities, Adams County Manor and Morris Nursing Home. Brendan has helped develop policies and practices in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities that strive to provide quality care to our residents and create a great workplace for our employees. He has been married to his wife Lacey since 2007 and they have four sons, Simon, Max, Miles and Lewis and two daughters, Madeline and Quinn. He is very grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference to the local communities he was born and raised in. He enjoys giving back to his communities and being able to help those in need. When he’s not running our facilities, Brendan enjoys all things sports. He has coached baseball and basketball for many years now at the local youth level all the way up to the High School level.
Sabir Quraishi, M.D.

Completed Internship and Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio
Dr. Quraishi provides patient care in the Medical Surgical/Observation Unit of the Adams County Regional Medical Center. His physician office is located at 25800 SR 41, Peebles, Ohio. He is certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Quraishi has been the Medical Director at our sister facility, Adams County Manor since January 2004. He took over as Morris Nursing Home’s Medical Director in February 2019. Dr. Quraishi has a genuine desire to care for the elderly, something he does incredibly well. The residents in our facilities are in great hands with Dr. Quraishi leading our Medical Departments.
Jennifer Newman, RN CDCS

Jennifer has been in the healthcare field since 1999, receiving her Phlebotomy license and LPN license. In her years leading up to her current position, she has served as a Phlebotomist, Charge Nurse, and Ancillary Nurse at various facilities in Southern Ohio. Jennifer has gained a wide array of experience and education throughout her years in healthcare. Jennifer became the Director of Nursing at Adams County Manor in July of 2014. Prior to accepting this position, Jennifer served in an administrative role with Adams County Manor as the MDS Coordinator and Clinical Manager since 2008. During her time here, she also received a national certification as a Certified Director of Nursing through NADONA, an association she continues to be a member of. She also spent time serving on the Board for NADONA. Some of the skills and specialties that she brings to our team are wound care, Alzheimer’s disease, pain management, leadership skills, Person Centered Care, MDS, geriatric nursing, behavior management and much more.
When Jennifer is not at Adams County Manor she enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband Mike since 2002. Together they have two boys, Austin and Andrew. She also enjoys being outdoors, reading and sports. Jennifer has a heart to serve others and is a true leader in every sense of the word. Our staff and residents are the recipients of her never ending desire to make a difference in the lives of those she serves.
Marti Knauff, LPN
Marti began her healthcare journey serving as a Charge Nurse at Eastgate Carespring, Cedar Works, and at ACRMC. She has served in many different positions in the healthcare field over time including as a home health nurse, unit manager, occupational nurse, and a Charge Nurse. Marti started with our company as a Charge Nurse and then MDS Coordinator at Adams County Manor in 2005. Marti became the Director of Admissions for our sister facility, Adams County Manor in 2007. She thrived in this role and has created a name for herself not just in our local communities but in many hospitals and local MD practices she frequents to spread the good news about the high quality care we deliver in our facilities. In 2013, Marti’s role was expanded to include taking on the Social Services Department as the supervisor. That same year, her role was again expanded as she took on the same positions for Morris Nursing Home, effectively making her the Director of Admissions and Social Services over both of our SNFs. Marti is a hard working, wonderful asset to the company.
In Marti’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, refinish furniture, and is an agent with a local Real Estate Company.

Activities Director – Medical Records Coordinator – Inventory & Purchasing
Meghan has been a part of our H&G Nursing Homes, Inc Corporation since 2008. Meghan served for many years leading the company as the Purchasing Director until she took on the challenge of serving as Morris Nursing Home’s Activities Director in 2019. Meghan is a “Jack of all trades” when it comes to her duties. She will consistently go far out of her way to ensure everyone has help that needs it. She is a selfless individual that dedicates much of her time and resources to serving others, in both her professional and personal lives. Her tasks are continually evolving to fit whatever the needs are for the company and she never skips a beat when having new challenges thrown at her. Meghan specializes in creating an environment of fun and well-being for all of our residents, with the goal of making them feel at ease within their new or continued living environment. She is a kind and encouraging individual who strives to use positive energy to inspire and encourage others to work hard and succeed. All residents and families know Meghan and she is often times the first face they see and voice they hear. She serves as the ultimate wonderful first impression for the company and her smile and attitude is infectious.
Meghan is a person with strong family values. In her free time she enjoys going hiking, playing video games and most of all spending time with her family and her pets.
Jack McHone Jr., CDM, CFPP

Jack serves as our Director of Dietary Services for both of our Skilled Nursing Facilities. Jack’s journey with our company began in 2014 when he accepted a position at Adams County Manor as a Dietary Aide and Cook. Jack has always had passion for food service and a desire to work his work his way up. In 2017, Jack was promoted to Dietary Manager at Adams County Manor, a position he continues to hold. Jack has made streamlined changes to policies, procedures and order processes that have significantly impacted resident satisfaction in their dining and nutrition choices. He focused on working hard to improve his skills in food service practices, leadership and management. In January of 2020, Jack was again promoted within the company to serve as Corporate Director of Dietary Services, overseeing both of our Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adams County Manor and Morris Nursing Home and continues to serve in this role currently. While serving in his leadership roles, Jack furthered his education and knowledge by attending an online certification program with Auburn University. He completed his training and in July of 2020 he received his CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) and CFPP (Certified Food Protection Professional). Jack is now a member of the Association of Nutrition and Food-service Professionals (ANFP) and is ServSafe Certified, which is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the U.S. National Restaurant Association. The program is accredited by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and the Conference for Food Protection. Jack is constantly acquiring skills and education that support the highest safety standards that benefit our residents and entire operations. His work ethic and attention to detail, among many other great qualities, make him a truly valuable asset to our team.
When Jack is not leading our Dietary Departments in our facilities, he enjoys baking delicious pastries, cakes and sweet treats. He also enjoys ghost hunting adventures, playing video games and spending time at home with his Blue Great Dane, Titus.
