Brendan began working in Healthcare in 2008 serving as the Environmental Service Manager at the Arbors of Milford. In 2009, Brendan took a position with our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services serving as our Human Resource Manager. In 2011, he furthered his education and obtained a License to Practice Nursing Home Administration. Brendan moved into the Assistant Administrator position at Morris Nursing Home in 2012 and in 2013 he moved into the Administrator role while still serving as the Human Resource Manager for both Morris Nursing Home and Adams County Manor. Brendan continues to work his way up and as of 2019, Brendan is now the Administrator for both of our skilled nursing homes, Adams County Manor and Morris Nursing Home. Brendan has helped develop policies and practices in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities that strive to provide quality care to our residents and create a great workplace for our employees. He has been married to his wife Lacey since 2007 and they have three sons, Simon, Max, and Miles, and two daughters, Madelyn and Quinn. He is very excited to work in his hometown Bethel, Ohio and surrounding areas and be able to give back to the community in which he was born and raised.
Jennifer Moffett, RN, BSN

Jennifer has been on the nursing path from the get go while working her way up from obtaining her license as a STNA, to LPN, to RN and to most recently obtaining her BSN license. She is originally from Bracken County, KY and relocated to Ripley, OH. Jennifer has set a strong foundation for herself having experience in geriatrics, medical surgery, hospice and home health and serving as a clinical educator. Her management skills and team player attitude will be welcomed here at Morris Nursing Home. In Jennifer’s spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She is married with two sons and one grandson. Jennifer looks forward to being a part of the 5-Star Morris Nursing Home Team.
Felicia Messer, PT, MPT

Felicia has been welcomed to our team as the Director of Rehabilitation over our skilled nursing facilities and home health agency. She began working as a rehab aide in 2003 while she was in college to allow herself the opportunity to work with all disciplines (PT/OT/ST) in order to gain knowledge regarding patient care from all therapy aspects as well as get a head start on hands on training. She has over 10+ years of experience as a Rehab Manager and 15+ years of healthcare experience. Felicia has specific experience/training in: Geriatrics, Alzheimer’s, wound care (including MIST therapy), modalities, Neurological, and Orthopedic. Felicia loves being a physical therapist and enjoys working with patients to help them achieve their goals.
In Felicia’s spare time, she donates her time to the MS Association as her sister was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and participates in the Cincinnati chapter MS walk yearly. She resides in the town of Amelia with her two fur babies– Drax (Dracula) and Abigail. Felicia has recently gotten into running marathons, such as the Flying Pig, but has ran half marathons in the past all over the United States; she loves staying active and traveling. Felicia also enjoys Mexican food!
Marti Knauff, LPN
Marti became the Director of Admissions in 2007. Prior to accepting this position Marti served at our sister facility Adams County Manor as a charge nurse and MDS Coordinator. Before Morris, Marti worked at Eastgate Springs, Cedar Works, and at ACRMC; she has served for many positions, including a home health nurse, unit manager, occupational nurse, and a charge nurse. In Marti’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, refinish furniture, and is an agent with a local Real Estate Company.
Dr. Shachi Singh, MD
Received Medical Degree from M.G.M Medical College
Completed Residency at New York Methodist Hospital
Dr. Singh specializes in Internal Medicine and sub specializes in Geriatric Medicine; she is part of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She recently became the Medical Director at Morris Nursing Home, as she came here in 2017, and has been in practice for more than twenty years.
